************”We are Christine Nakahara, Taiwo Olopade, and Audrey Ramirez-Loudenback and we are conducting a research survey under Western Oregon University. We will be focusing on the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) who are signed language interpreters and our goal is to gather data to document the experiences of BIPOC interpreters in our field.At the end of our study, we hope to disseminate the information to our field and provide a foundation for future research.
